'The Myth Within'

In an era of ecological collapse, cultural fragmentation, and digitally-induced disconnection, logic alone cannot guide us forward. We cannot simply think our way through the crisis we face today. Our challenges are not just ecological or societal, but mythological: we are experiencing a collapse in meaning, imagination, and belonging.

 

 

Our world is starving not just for solutions, but for soul. In myths and storytelling, we can find our solace.

The ancient myths that have survived through time are not relics of the past—they are blueprints for inner transformation, an essential technology of the soul. They are not linear lectures—they stir something in the chthonic depths of our being. Often, we don’t even fully understand what they awaken. That’s the power of stories. They speak an inner language, awaken our mythic imagination, and guide us through catastrophes, the breaking of systems, and the deaths and rebirths of our lives.

​I invite my audience not only to reconnect with ancient stories, but also with own personal myth—our powerful, often-forgotten inner compass. We all carry a story that wants to live through us, a story that has the power to heal both ourselves and the world. When we rediscover our inner myth, we equally align with the deep currents of the Soul of the World. From this place, real change—personal, social, ecological—becomes possible.

 

When in the throes of trouble, it is the nature of the human soul to awaken in ways that are initiatory as well as revelatory.

 

During my talk 'The Myth Within', I will give the audience practical tools on how to begin to discover their own inner myth, and how to use the role of imagination and story telling in collective healing.

Because regeneration—true regeneration—is an initiation. And myths, as they always have, are waiting to lead us through.
